Christmas Countdown in Princeton                                                                                                                              December 18th

Melvin at Cherry Grove farmstore in Princeton, NJ as seen in american Public House Review

Melvin, the store manager at Cherry Grove Farm (just outside Princeton at 3200 Lawrenceville Road) is a consummate professional. He's knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his products, especially the handmade, raw milk cheese for which Cherry Grove Farm is known. Beware of Melvin's free samples, though: there's no way you'll walk out of his store without a couple of wedges! The quality and flavor of the cheese is outstanding and it's a relative bargain. We wholeheartedly recommend the Herdsman and the creamy Buttercup Brie.

Melvin moonlights as a drummer in his punk band Stomping Ground, billed as "razor sharp hard core."  His heartfelt music admittedly plays to a small, unique and dedicated young audience but it possesses the unspoiled exuberance one would hope to find in every work of art. Melvin exemplifies the verity that a spirited pursuit of a single passion is contagious to every aspect of life.
